My name is Marcelle and I am a maker. I use the word maker in place of artist because, while I do love visual art, it is not all that I do. I love to build things with my hands, garden, exercise, and create. I specifically wanted to start this blog, however, for my writing. I have always loved to write, for me it is an extension of my creative work in the arts. Although, until I recently graduated college, I had primarily always written to display research or convey an argument. I am now using my skills, knowledge, and love of writing for creative works that are meaningful to me and, I hope, for others as well. However, this is still something I am working on. That is where this space comes in. I am endeavoring to take on a journey where I will hopefully learn more and grow within the space of writing. I thought it may be cool to have a place where I share this work and process.
